At the center of every happy
home...There is a Godly  Woman

1  Mark your belongings: Stick a bright-colored tassel of yarn on luggage handles and the car antenna and you'll spot your
suitcases or car in seconds.

2  Time check: If you're always late, set your clocks ahead 10 minutes.

3  Instruction manuals: Tape a copy of the manufacturer's booklet directly to the appliance or make a special storage box just for all
your manuals and you'll never need to search for it.

4  Deductibles: Keep a separate checking account for tax deductible expenses and sort them every month by category, such as
charitable contributions, medical and dental expenses. By year end, you'll be way ahead in the tax preparation hassle.

5  Quick orientation: When you arrive in a new place, first get an overview with an in-city bus tour. This avoids having to drive
around in a strange place and pinpoints the places of interest you might want to explore later on your own.

6   Don't waste commercials: Do something productive. Start the laundry, wash the dishes, water the plants. o Set up routines:
Schedule routine tasks for the same time each day or week. For example, mop the kitchen floor on Monday; save ironing and
shopping for Wednesday, etc. Then, by the weekend, you can relax and reward yourself.

7  Chart your chores: Make a pie chart to help you analyze what percentage of your time is spent at each task. It helps you to
pinpoint where the time goes so you can make adjustments when necessary.

8  The night before: Accomplish as much as possible before you go to sleep. You'll sleep better if the dishes are washed and the
trash is on the curb. Quick dress: Layout tomorrow's wardrobe tonight. Assemble everything - including accessories - and hang on a
hook behind the door.

9  Trial-size products: Leave a bunch packed and ready to go in a toiletries case in your suitcase. Include shampoo, conditioner,
shaving cream, a razor, toothpaste, powder and hand cream.

10  Quick drying: Add a few dry, clean, small towels along with the wet laundry you put into the dryer. The whole load will dry faster.

11  VCR/DVR's saves time: Tape shows now and watch later so you don't sacrifice any quality time with family or interrupt a project
just to catch a special program.

12  Business card info: Staple each business card right onto a Rolodex card. This saves repeating information that's already on the
card. If necessary, trim to fit. '

13   Get your bearings: Keep a "directions" file and, whenever you take down directions to a place you're likely to visit again, just slip
a note into the file.

14   Location, location, location: Assign a permanent .Place to keep items you use often - and keep them there!

15   A holding pattern: Mount a heavy duty hook outside close to your front door. You'll find it invaluable for temporarily hanging
shopping bags or dry cleaning while you get out your house keys.

16   Idle time: Use unplanned blocks of time - such as in the doctor's waiting room - to answer letters or balance your checkbook.

17   Quick-dry nails: To speed up the drying time of your nail polish, set your hands in a bowl of cold water when your nails are
partially dry.

18   Pack for unpacking: If you pack your own bags at the supermarket, put similar items together: frozen foods, paper products, etc.
This will save time unpacking, sorting and storing once you get home.

19   Systemize marketing: Make up your shopping list aisle by aisle in the supermarket. You won't waste time zigzagging back and
forth.

20  Go to bed early, get up with at least 15 to 30 minutes earlier than you need.  You'll always be ready for those unexpected things
that happen.  Plus you'll have the extra time to relax a little.  ( Don't forget to check the traffic report)  You might need those extra
minutes for the road.
